Mount Jais (Bil Ays)

Jebel Jais, also known as Bil Ays, is the highest peak in the UAE at 1,934 meters. It is part of the Hajar Mountain range in Ras Al Khaimah and is known for its rugged beauty and cooler temperatures.
 
The peak offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking and the world’s longest zipline, Jebel Jais Flight. While there are several hiking trails, the most popular is a moderately challenging 6-kilometer route that takes about 4 hours to complete. The views of deep canyons and winding roads are spectacular, especially at sunrise or sunset.
